Why?

Why?

WHY?

Have you ever wondered why you do what you do?

WHY do you get up in the morning?

Why do you have the job or career you have?

WHY do you love those you love?

What is it that you are passionate about?

Thinking about our passions and being aware of what gives usmotivation can really assist us in moving forwards as it helps us to understandourselves. Becoming self-aware and taking personal responsibility for what wedo and who we are is one of the most important journeys we will ever take.

Have you ever thought of the things which have inspired youin your life?

Some of our greatest teachers can be those who show us justhow NOT TO BE.

Some of our greatest teachers are those who really encourageus to be the best that we can be.

A simple exercise can be to write down ten things that youlove doing.

Write down the things you love about your life right now.

Write down those teachers who have helped you on your way inlife.

Who has inspired you the most and how.

How much time do you spend doing things you love doing?

Would you like to spend more time doing them?

How easy to you find trying new things?

How many opportunities do you feel you have missed in life?

What are you willing to do about it?

Write a list of all the things that you have achieved inyour life. It could be learning to swim, ride a bike, learning to cook, starting a business, making new friends, learning a new skill, renovating ahouse into a home, inspiring someone else and encouraging them to succeed, learning to drive.

We so often forget our achievements rather than celebrateour success. Most of our success comes from our failure too. Acceptance is thekey to many things and just having the courage to carry on and to find thestrength to continue.

How much time do you waste through procrastination?

How easy do you find it to be honest with yourself?

How easy is it to be honest with others?

I hope this has helped you. Training as a life-coach helpedme to grow so much years ago and I truly love assisting others to take thosebaby steps which can and often do lead to wonderful things.

WHAT DOESSPIRITUALITY MEAN TO YOU?

Spirituality means so many different things to so many ofus. To me in the most simple terms it means being soulful.

Soulful means opening up to the soul and allowing itsgrowth. The soul needs to be nurtured and cared for. I spoke recently to a dearfriend and she said that she didn’t know if she had a soul. Being so connectedto my soul from such a young age, I was so surprised. She truly didn’t understandthe concept of her soul. I explained that if she didn’t have one she would bedead.

From being a tot I recall vividly seeing the aura – thelight body around someone. They are all different just as our fingerprintsdiffer too. They represent our soul’s vibration. If we are judgemental andcritical every day of others then they might be dirty or dark-coloured. Peoplewho have light, bright auras are usually bubbly, happy people who are lovely tobe around.

It’s not real to be happy all the time. Life has its ups anddowns. My thinking is that the stronger the soul, the stronger the energyallowing us to bounce back up again from whatsoever has knocked us off ourperch.

Feeding the soul is so important. Many of you know that Ifeel mine through a variety of ways. Enjoying time with my family, my childrenand granddaughters, I love singing, dancing, T’ai Chi, gardening, hiking, swimming and reading. Going out with the people I love in life for a cuppa or ameal is wonderful too.

Having written four books to date, I also love writing andstudying. I enjoyed renovating this house and others homes too – despite havingdust and plaster in my hair and other places!!!

Taking the time out to think about what it is that youreally love can be life changing. I love my work with a passion and I loveinspiring people to find and honour their soul in day to day life.

FEED YOUR SOUL AND YOULL SURELY FEED YOUR LIFE WITH PASSION.PUT THE SPRING BACK INTO YOUR STEP. START LIVING THROUGH THE SOUL AND EMBRACE ABETTER LIFE.

Good luck Mary x

DEPRESSION

Depression is a word that’s used so frequently now ineveryday conversation. To be honest sometimes I feel it’s used far too oftenand without regard to further implications.

It is very true that we all have times where life seems anuphill struggle and we feeling we are fighting a losing battle. One thing thatwe know for sure is that this will surely pass, just as all things doeventually.

The Law Of Attraction attracts things into our lives. I lovethis quote by Mahatma Gandhi;

“Your beliefs become your thoughts,

Your thoughts become your words,

Your words become your actions,

Your actions become your habits,

Your habits become your values

Your values become your destiny.”

This is a total understanding of the principles of The LawOf Attraction. So, when we say we are depressed then we will indeed attractmore things to be depressed about.

Living a life where we truly believe everything to bewonderful is great though often not real. How often do we get knocked from ourperch and need to get back up.

Often we learn so much from those dark nights of the soul.In fact they can be our saving grace. Maybe sit and reflect for a while on yourhappiest and darkest moments.

I recall my son Philip asking me a few years ago about whatI would change in my life. I explained that I would change nothing because allthose experiences have shaped me into the person that I am today.

Having a marriage that eventually went tits up was a trulyawful experience though it changed me for the better. Having children who wereill at times was very sad though made me appreciate them more when they werewell again. Having lost my grandfather made me appreciate that I actually had agrandfather and we shared so much. Having lost friends over the years, made mecelebrate all we shared at that time. Being in business as a therapist andhaving the honour of helping people to get out of their personal dark nights ofthe soul assists me greatly to appreciate my own life. Helping many get offtheir anti-depressants and other heavy medication helps me tremendously tocelebrate my own life and find value and satisfaction in all that I do.

So, here’s to life and celebrations

Depression or a turning point in your life to change? Yourshout. Your Choice

Good luck in all you do Mary x
